 Noodley Suncatcher Craft

These are so pretty! Kids will love how the sunlight filters through their beautiful Suncatcher when it's hanging in the window.

Supplies:

Large, clear plastic lids, quart size
Lots of white glue
Variety of small size noodles
String Scissors
Small suction cups with hanger
Food coloring: red, blue, yellow, green, purple
White vinegar
Large ziplock baggies
Parchment paper or wax paper Cookie sheets

Directions:

Put 1 cup of an uncooked noodle in a large ziplock bag. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and 5-10 drops of food coloring to the bag. Close the bag and gently shake and squish the bag until all the noodles are covered with color. Place parchment paper or wax paper on a cookie sheet. Open the bag and spread out the colored noodles on the cookie sheet to dry overnight. Repeat this process with different kinds of noodles and different colors of food coloring. Use more than one cookie sheet if needed. Put lots of glue onto the plastic lid. Arrange the different colored noodles in the glue. Let it dry for 2 days. Pop the glue out of the lid. Punch a hole in the top of the Suncatcher. Thread a 8 inch string through the hole and tie a knot. Attach small suction cup to a window and hang the Suncatcher.
